TELESCOPIC SEATING SYSTEM
(Telescopic grandstands, Retractable Seating Systems, Retractable grandstands)

The Telescopic Seating System can be efficiently used for the various purpose at the limited area. According to the event, the system can be partially extended and used. When wide space is required, the System can be completely retracted.

 

Typical Use

1) Gymnasium : The system can be partially extended and used for the Ice Link, Badminton, Handball, Basketball, Volleyball games. Spectators on the Telescopic Seating System can watch the games quite closely.

2) School's Hall : For the Graduation Ceremony, Event & Play, the system can be extended and used for the spectators seats. When lost of active space is required at the hall, the system can be retracted. And then the empty space can be used for the various activity.

3) Religious Hal : For religious event, the system can be used for the general seats. When wide space is required at the hall, the system can be retracted.

 

1. Classification of seat type

.

(1) Tip-up Seat

Seat & backrest shells shall be tilted up and also the armrest will be automatically raised up when people stand up. 150mm space of tip-up seat can allow maximum pathway to the spectators. The seats shall be folded down with 3 to 10seats together by Many power or Electric motor operation.

(2) Backrest folded seat

Typical economical seats. The backrest shall be automatically folded down when the system retracted. After the system is extended, the backrest shell is raised by spectators and the seat can be used.

(3) Bench

Easy maintenance. In the small space the bench shall be quite useful. The seat can be installed in 650mm Wide of platform. Uplostered backrest can be optionally supplied.

2. Classification of Operation

(1) System Operation

     1) Manual Operation

To extend or retract the Telescopic Seating System, A Manual pulling unit shall be linked in front of the first deck platform and then operate by man power. According to the length of system and number of rows, one person or two people have to extend or retract the system.

 

     2) Semi-Automatic Operation

- Inner Operating System Automatic pulling unites are located under the first deck platform and then the motor is operated by a pendant which shall be earthed in front of first deck platform. Inner operating system have a Control Panel which control overvoltage.

- Outer Operating System Special Pulling Cart which is equipped motor will be linked in front of frist deck platform and extend or retract the system one by one. This cart shall be useful when the units are separately located. For the cart, there is no control panel. It have only wrong connector.

 

(2) seat operation.

1) Automatic UP-DOWN Mechanism

The seats shall be raised up or fall downed by the motor  operation. The motor & geared box shall be located under  the seats  and completely covered by folded steel plate. The seat shall be easily operated by the pendant control.
Three to 15seats can be operated together.

2) Manual UP-DOWN Mechanism

The seats shall be raised up or fall downed by the man power using a Bar. The bar shall lock or loose locking device which is located in operating box. 3 to 7seats shall be operated together.

3. Classification of Storage Type

(1) Wall Attached Type

Last row shall be fixed on the floor or behind of wall and then the system shall be extended one by one from row 1 to last row.

 

 

(2) Wall Recessed Type

System shall be stored under the Cantilever. The system shall be guided until the end of Cantilever and then extended one by one from row 1.

 

 

(3) Forward Retracted Type

First row is fixed on the floor and the last row shall be extended and retracted. This storage type shall be useful at the Exhibition Hall, TV studio and so on.

 

 

(4) Movable Type

For the convenient space use, the system shall be moved to the other places and placed at the different direction. And also the system can be stored at the special storage area for the maximum space use.
